Wow turns out even bloggers in Australia follow our beautiful socialite Pearl Going. Who is apparently in regular attendance at their Australia Fashion Week and turned out in full force to show support for Kirrily Johnston (an Aussie) at NZ Fashion Week. according to a brief article in The Australian.

Blogger Greg Tingle behind Community Media a blog dedicated to following charity, philanthropy and social entrepreneurs also posts about our Pearl as well.

Hoorah! We received a tip off via a comment that lead us to photos of our IT girl Pearl Going getting her xmas party groove Mr Cool man about town Adam Bennett the owner of Highlife Entertainment (who host the most amazing parties around town including the Waiheke NY's) xmas party for his close friends at none other than his house. With Steve White man about town and owner of Stoneyridge Vineyard New Zealand's most exclusive on Waiheke Island and Melanie Smith who we presume to be a gal pal of Miss Going's most known for the GOOD WATER Project amazing environmental water (so it would make sense they are pals). Granted the photos are from last December but Pearl looks blonde and ultra cute. Enjoy!

This is one amazing jacket we want! we want! Amy spotted this in Lucie Boshier last week we had a drool because with the close to $800 price tag we can only dream of owning. Then a picture of the uber stylish Pearl Going shows up her wearing the object of our desire snapped during Air New Zealand Fashion Week go figure.

A five point survival program.. 1.Guard your warmth as a person the measure of solid character is how much you let the crap change who you are and how you treat others. 2.Surround yourself with good grounded people. 3.On the road to success there is no round, under or over. So cowboy up if you want it. You’re gonna have to go through it. 4.Take the high ground anyone one can play in the gutter. 5.Laugh at the people who don’t know you yet feel the need to occupy their time talking about you. We loved this snap of Miss Going taken at the VIP Coach lanch at DFS Galleria by the wonderful Norrie who is apparently the only social photographer Pearl Going will let snap her. She apparently loves him to bits my sister tells me so of course we in turn love him as well. Pearl drew alot of criticism for her oufit online no doubt from people lacking fashion education. A month after this photo was snapped our glossies down here were full of black and white style tips, announcing little white dresses with leather jackets du jour, pearls are always classy and that little hat is ulta cute. WELL DONE!

Pearl Going is an avid enviromentalist and she turned up to the ultra exclusive Hugo Boss launch in an amazing green number said to be by Zambesi who Pearl is a huge supporter of. She also partied away at their fashion week runway show and after party.

The girl on everyone's lips at the moment is gorgeous young socialite Pearl Going (pictured above - far right). She's the It girl du jour. The hottest property on the party circuit. And she's determined to leave her mark.
She texts me - would I like to meet. I'm curious, I've heard a lot about Ms Going, rumours she had dated Richie McCaw, sailed with Richard Branson, is chums with NYC society queen Tinsley Mortimer. The answers, I learn later, are no to the Richies, but yes, she is friends with the Tinz.
We agree to Ponsonby cafe Bambina. She arrives bearing a Starbucks flask of piping hot coffee. I'd have thought bringing your own coffee to a coffee house is a big no-no in Socialite Cafe etiquette.
I like her immediately. She's whippet-thin with piercing blue eyes. Fashion is her game, and like Park Avenue princess Tinsley, Going has her own handbag line. They're made from biodegradable pleather, she tells me.
And then there's the designer jeans collection - but they're only sold in LA, she says. They're too expensive for this market. Come Fashion Week in September, Going will be behind the Eco Show, a runway show dedicated to ethical fashion. She's signing up designers now to create specific pieces.
Pearl's a socialite with a purpose - an oxymoron, you ask? Apparently not. Roxane Horton (No. 3 in the Spy socialite ranking) heads the Friends of the Liggins Institute; Annabel Fay is a successful singer-songwriter paving the way for female musos.

The website that was set up defaming was called pearlgoingisafake and because it was so vicious, threatening and untrue the nz police had it shut down. Which is a huge deal because it was hosted offshore and had to involve US police. Awful :(

Everyone on the scene and in the media said they had never seen anything like it. It was brutally nasty & reaked of potty green girls .

The good news is it is an ongoing case so when we here more tit bits we will keep you posted.

Poor Pearl and her family. Although they must be really great cos they fought to the end and won despite all the horrible things been said about her and them by silly people anonymously.

Now, we don't really know Pearl Going although we know people who know her. Maybe she doesn't shave her legs. Maybe your boyfriend has the hots for her. She is the gem who has been clawed and scratched at by the Botox B and other silly jealous people. Who has had an unbelievable attack of lunacy launched on her and still at the end of the day, she has the class to hold her head high, show up and not run away -- No doubt to events where there are people who gobbled up every written word about her supposed fakery in an effort to feed their poor self opinions, and she doesn't falter for a second.



If that had happened to us, we would have died. In fact, we would be locked in the bathroom and considering leaving planet earth, or at least not ever going out again. Because even when you deny something, and even if you're accurate in your claims, people still gossip and view it as a cursory and assume you probably did all those things anyway, and then there's Botox B and lots of whispering. It's just the way this stuff works. All the while Miss Going stuck to her guns and rode out the storm in a regal manner. She beamed and looked stunning time after time. Her handling of the mess has earn't her the kind of feel sorry that turns into affection and a Phoenix-style rise from the social ashes. So what if their was event a hint of a little truth in it, someone was out to get her. However you slice it, she's going to come out on top and win, because she hasn't run away, hid away, and the cold bitches that have judged will eventually eat their words, soften and say, "Well, you've gotta respect her style and gumpshire." Because the only thing we love more than gossip is a phoenix rise. We intend to give Miss Going a pat on the back for not going on a downward drug spiral and running away. We hope you join us.
